Cycles Estermann Zurich was founded by Leo Estermann in about 1960, originally located behind Restaurant Felsenberg in Seebach, Zurich Switzerland. Leo Estermann built his bespoke racing frames for elite riders as well as discerning customers who required a custom built frame, initially building lugged frames and probably progressed to fillet brazed work when the fad for funny bikes began to take hold in the late 1970’s. 1984 - 1985 gen 1 Campagnolo C-Record braze on front derailleur, with an exposed middle arm pin above the braze on mounting bolt. Horizontally pinned fork / cage, gen 2 derailleurs were improved with a diagonal pin arrangement. Rare Gerber version from Greg Softley’s collection.

Vintage bike collector James Macdonald assembled one of the largest bicycle collections in Australia. The collection includes a dandy horse through to a mid 1990′s Giant AIS Australian teams time trial bike.
